Emergency Preparedness In-service
“Franklin Health Care and Rehabilitation Center welcomed Police Chief Morris Beverly, pictured right. Chief Beverly’s recent presentation was well received by the staff of FHCC. He focused on community involvement with a special concentration on first response to all emergency situations.
The staff was allowed to ask questions and those posed were immediately addressed by Beverly. He explained how important it is to be prepared, safe and ready to take all emergencies seriously. Outside of emergency preparedness questions, he responded “I do not make promise but each concern will be addressed.”
A main concern of the facility which was addressed is parking vehicles blocking or near the fire hydrant which services the facility, a local school and other residents. Chief Beverly clearly addressed the seriousness of this matter and stated he would follow through with a resolution to the parking issue.”
One staff expressed at the end of his presentation, “things are a lot better now.” Congratulations to Chief Beverly and the Franklin Police Department.
